Date a Book YA Book Club- Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri ManiscalcoRead Along

The Date A Book Ya Book Club over on Goodreads are holding their second read along since forming their club. You may have seen my previous posts from the first read along which was Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo which I really enjoyed and was so excited when I learnt that the next book had been picked and it was Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco. I have been seeing so many posts on Instagram lately about this book and how everyone is loving it and recommending it left right and centre. So of course I signed up to be part of it straight away and was lucky enough to receive a copy thanks to the amazing team at Hachette Australia and the Date a Book team. I have started the book today and am enjoying it so much but am trying to pace myself so I don't read it all in one go and spread it out over the time frame, which believe me is very hard. Below I'm putting information about the book and the Date a Book Goodreads page link.

Stalking Jack the Ripper
By Kerri Maniscalo

Presented by James Patterson's new children's imprint, this deliciously creepy horror novel has a storyline inspired by the Ripper murders and an unexpected, blood-chilling conclusion...

Seventeen-year-old Audrey Rose Wadsworth was born a lord's daughter, with a life of wealth and privilege stretched out before her. But between the social teas and silk dress fittings, she leads a forbidden secret life.

Against her stern father's wishes and society's expectations, Audrey often slips away to her uncle's laboratory to study the gruesome practice of forensic medicine. When her work on a string of savagely killed corpses drags Audrey into the investigation of a serial murderer, her search for answers brings her close to her own sheltered world.

The story's shocking twists and turns, augmented with real, sinister period photos, will make this dazzling, #1 New York Times bestselling debut from author Kerri Maniscalco impossible to forget.
