My name is Carter Reynolds. I was born a bastard and I'll die a bastard. I learnt it at a young age, and nothing and nobody can change that. I'm on a one-way path of distraction, and God help anyone who gets in my way. That's unti, I meet the kid next door, Indi-freakin'ana. My dislike for her is instant. From the moment I lay eyes on her, she ignites something within me. It freaks me the hell out. She's like sunshine and rainbows in my world of gloom and doom.

I'm Indiana Montgomery. My friends call me Indi. Despite losing my mum at the age of six, I have a wonderful life. My dad more an makes up for the fact that I only have one parent. I'm his little girl, the centre of his world. When Carter Reynolds moves in next door, things take a turn for the worse. He's gorgeous, sinfully hot, but ihe seems hell bent on making my life miserable. He acts tough, but when I look into his eyes I don't see it. I see hurt and pain. I'm drawn to him for some reason. Whether he likes it or not, I refuse to give up on him.
My review
Thoughts on the book: OMG I freaking love this book. Bastard is amazing and I will defiantly be recommending it to everyone I know who loves a smouldering hot read. I can totally understand why it is a #1 best seller. I mean for starters look at this amazing artwork that is in the front cover of the book and the the artwork for at the start of each chapter. If that doesn't draw you into wanting to read this book than the storyline surely will.

Bastard tells the amazing story of Carter and Indi, the girl next door, boy next door pair who have a very fiery love/hate relationship. It spans eight years of their lives and boy are they an amazing eight years filled with love, laughter, hatred, anger, sadness and let's not forget about the amazing sex scenes (make sure you have a cool glass of water handy to Cool you down). You will laugh, cry, want to hit Carter, shout, jump up and down while joining Carter and Indi on this ride and finally at the end you will sigh and hug your book but instantly look at getting the Luckiest Bastard.

Lovers of Abbi Glines, Alice Clayton, Christia Lauren and Colleen Hoover would find Bastard right up their ally and would defiantly devour it like all of their own books.

Rating: 5/5
