Okay so I have decided that I am going to start a new weekly blog post called Flashback Friday. On Flashback Friday I will post a book that I read when I was younger and maybe you might have read it too.
The first book that I am going to pick for Flashback Friday is:
Kristy's Great Idea (Baby-sitters club #1)
Author: Ann M Martin
When Kristy Thomas has the great idea to form a baby-sitters club--a chance to earn money and spend time with her friends, all while doing something they each love to do--she has no idea how much the club will change everything.
Crank calls, uncontrollable toddlers, wild pets, untruthful clients . . . running a business is hard work! Kristy and her co-founders, Mary Anne, Claudia, and Stacey, are sure they can handle anything. But only if they stick together . . .
I absolutely loved this series growing up and even now still have a lot of the series hoping that one day my daughter will read them. These books featured heavily in my childhood and were one of the first series that I grew up reading. I loved the idea of a baby-sitters club and even created my own with a group of friends, although we never had a phone call unlike the BSC.
