Anna is a beautiful PhD student whose older brother is a notorious badass in the Wind Draons MC. Of course she loves Rake, who's looked out for her since their troubled childhood. But he's still protecting her- to the extreme. She can't make a move without a Wind Dragons motorcycle escort. Potential boyfriends flee, for fear of her ass-kicking sibling, And Rake's made it clear that his biker brothers are trouble of the worst kind and strictly off-limits. But one of these tattooed bad boys has already pierced her heart: Arrow, the bearded, darkly brooding rider with the body of a Greek god and eye that betray a wounded soul. He's sent to whisk her off campus on his thundering steel stallion. And when Anna wraps her arms around his rock hard torso, it's too late for caution: she'll ride as far as the road takes them- unless rake stops Arrow in his flight...
My Review
Thoughts on the book: BIT OF A SPOILER
Arrow's Hell is the second book in the Wind Dragons MC series which tells the stories of the Wind Dragon's Motorcycle Club. Arrow's Hell is told from the POV's of bad boy biker, Arrow's and his new lady friend Anna (who also happens to be fellow biker, Rake's sister). You may remember Arrow from Dragon's Lair, he was the biker that was standing but naked in the kitchen cooking when Faye walked in and his penis pointed straight at her, but he was also the biker who lost his lady when a rival motor cycle club tore through the club house and ending up killing and hurting some of the female members. Since loosing Mary, Arrow has not been his usual self and has instead closed himself off from the world and is basically drinking himself to live. Enter fellow member, Rake's sister Anna. Upon meeting Arrow she is determined to bring him out of his shell again and make him fall in love with her despite his past.
Wow what another stellar book in the Wind Dragons MC series. I loved the first book Dragon's Lair because it gave us a fantastic insight into how the Wind Dragon's ran their club and in Arrow's Hell we get to meet more of the people and get more insight into why some of the people are the way they are and also how protective they all are of their people. However I have to admit I wish there was more written about what was happening with the club. I felt that the book was mainly written about Arrow and Anna and that we didn't get as much insight into the club as the last book. However we learn more about their rival motorcycle club and even get a shock when we learn that one of the members has a connection to a member in the Wind Dragons MC.
I was tearing up at the end. The way everyone made their way to Mary's grave and the touching moment when Arrow and Faye have their moment together at the grave. It was nearly the single most best moment in the book and defiantly a very fitting end to Arrow's story. I can't wait for book 3 in the series Tracker's End.
