Beautiful Player (Beautiful Bastard, #3)
A bombshell bookworm.
A chronic casanova. And a lesson in chemistry too scandalous for school.
When Hanna Bergstrom receives a lecture from her overprotective brother about neglecting her social life and burying himself in grad school, she's determined to tackle his implied assignment: get out, make friends, start dating. And who better to turn her into the sultry siren every man wants than her brother's gorgeous best friend, Will Sumner, venture capitalist and unapologetic playboy?
Will takes risks for a living, but he's skeptical about this challenge of Hanna's ... until the wild night his innocently seductive pupil tempts him into bed- and teaches him a thing or two about being with a woman he can't forget. Now that Hanna's discovered the power of her own sex appeal, it's up to Will to prove he's the only man she'll ever need.

My Review
Thoughts on the book: It wasn’t that long ago that I read Sweet Filthy Boy and after reading that and remembering how much I loved Christina and Lauren’s writing I decided to grab the last two of their books off my everlasting TBR pile and finally read them. So here I am writing up the first of the two reviews of their books, this one being for Beautiful Player. We had previously met Will in the first two books with little appearances in each one. All we knew about him was that he was living the life of a playboy and wasn't interested in just one girl or a stable relationship. But in Beautiful Player we really get to know him and I am so glad that we got to. Although he doesn’t come close to being my favourite over all of their books (Ansel wins hands down) I do think that he is my favourite out of the Beautiful Bastard series.
We also get to meet the very innocent and work driven Hanna, or so she seems upon first meeting, but we soon learn that she if far from innocent and wants to learn as much as she can from the master of playboys, Will Sumner, her brother's best friend and the very person who she has had a crush on nearly her whole life. Hanna's relationship with Will was basically nonexistent until Hanna's brother tells her that she needs to get out more and meet someone and suggests that she should contact Will and get him to show her the ropes. Hanna also seems to fit right in with Sara and Chloe which makes it even better.
Although Beautiful Player doesn't really have as much sexual content as the other two books, it still has plenty of great scenes that will have you flipping the pages over just as quickly. We still get to see plenty of Bennett and Max and we even get a shock surprise announcement from Max.

Favourite moment/quote:
“Ben,” Max said, leaning back in his chair with a giant grin. “It’s finally happened.”
I groaned, resting my head on my hand.
“You got your period?” Bennett asked. “Congratulations.”
“No, you twat,” Max said, laughing. “I’m talking about Will. He’s gone arse over tits for a girl.”
