My review

Wow just wow. I am in love with not only the town but also the residents of Sea Breeze. In this first book in the Sea Breeze novels, we are introduced to rich boy Marcus Hardy who has had to leave college behind to come home and deal with his family’s troubles. Upon returning he moves in with Cage York, a baseball playing bad boy that has a different girl every night. So it’s quite surprising for Marcus to discover that when a girl comes knocking at their apartment door looking for Cage. And so begins Marcus’s infatuation with this seemingly normal girl called, Low. But there is a catch; Cage believes that he will marry Low when he decided to settle down.

Because of Low is an amazing addition to the New Adult genre. It has everything that you could possibly want in a book: an amazing plot, sexy characters, hot sex scenes and fantastic quotes. I worked out quite early what the big secret was in the book but it didn’t worry me like it normally would because there was enough still going on that I was still enthralled until the very end.

The characters are very easy to love. Rich boy Marcus Hardy is a boy who every girl dreams of having as theirs. He is loved by all, is very old fashioned (in that he will pull chairs out and open doors for you), charming and of course good looking. Then there is Willow who is the sweet heart that every boy wants to marry. She is very timid yet if you cross her be prepared for her to take you down. And lastly there is bad boy Cage who will come completely undone because of Willow. If anything happens to her you better be prepared for Cage to come after you.

I have defiantly jumped onto the Abbi Glines’ fan train and I can’t wait to read more of not only this series, but her other books too.
